Of course, it is. If you have more money, you have more freedom, peace of mind, enjoyment… the list could go on. Because of the harsh reality that you learn so quickly as you grow up, is that money doesn’t grow on trees, but it sure does make the world go round. The aim of the game in life is to get more money, and it’s a game that so many people are failing to do well at. But, it’s not their fault. It’s notoriously hard to get money, keep the money, and to get to a place in life where you actually will feel comfortable with money. For a number of reasons we’re going to discuss today, we can show you why it’s so hard to get to a point where you can get more money, but why your life is going to become dramatically easier if you get to a point where you do actually feel comfortable with it. Considering money is the biggest stress is most of your lives, we think this will come as a bit of a relief. So, to finally get to a point in life where you feel like you have more money, have a read of this article, and see if we can turn your life around.
The most lethal thing in the world. Debts are something that pretty much all of you will have hanging over your head. Whether it be the smaller debts such as a couple of hundred on a credit card, or whether you’ve got debts piling up at you, and minimum payments hitting you from all angles. If you get to this point where you actually feel overwhelmed with the debts that you’ve got, then it is time to start fighting them with the tips that we’ve got for you. So many people stay in the vicious cycle of being in debt because they just keep adding to it, rather than finding a way to actively clear it down. So, if you have your average 9-5 day job that just isn’t getting through any of the debt, then you need to take up a second job. Taking on a second job might sound like a nightmare to most of you, but dealing with debt long term is an even bigger nightmare. All you have to do is get a part-time weekend and evening job and put all of your earnings as well as the money you were already dedicated to it, onto your debts to try and clear them down quickly. You’ll be surprised at how quickly it does go down, and you might find you’re only in your second job for a couple of months. The hard work will pay off mentally, and the financial freedom you’ll feel when your debt is all cleared will be amazing.
A Low Income
Sometimes you just can’t help it if you’re on a low income, but how are you going to get more money when you can’t do anything about the money you’re bringing home? Well, there’s plenty you can do about the money you’re bringing home, you just haven’t done it yet. So, the first thing you can do is step up your game. If you’re in a company that has plenty of room for progression, and you’ve watched people fly past you, then you need to start putting in a hard graft. Moving up the ranks within a company always means more money and more experience. It might take time to prove your worth, but the benefits will be greater. Because even if you don’t like the company you work for, if you did manage to move to a managerial role, you could move to any company that was hiring and paying more! Your second option is to get yourself more qualifications so that you can move to a different career that pays more. For most people, all of the hassles of going back into education is so worth it when they can get their dream career, and get more money for it. Doing night time classes is definitely the way forward, you can still work around your normal job, but get the qualifications that you need.
So, it’s not all about making more money, it’s about how you use the money that you’ve got. The best way to ensure you have more free cash is to make sure you’re finding ways to make daily savings. We’re mainly talking about shopping here. Shopping is one of the most annoying times for a family because the price it can cost just seems to go up and up. But, if you were to focus more of your time on things like finding coupons, sales, and savings around the store, then your shopping trip could be close to halved! You can read more now about how to get your hands on some coupons! There are so many families out there who don’t even give it a go, even though they spend a ton on shopping each week!
Sometimes it is all about the daily cutbacks that you need to make, rather than how you’re actually spending your money. If you know you’re terrible for overindulging and treating yourself, then reign it in a little. So, for example, if you’re out every weekend eating in fancy restaurants, going for a drink with friends, or just generally spending money that you don’t need to because it is there, then you’re obviously going to feel like you have no money halfway through the month. We highly recommend doing a money plan to make sure you’re budgeting, sticking to the essentials that you actually need to buy, and keeping your money for special occasions. If you stick to going out twice a month, it’ll be hard to get out of control with your money.
