Discount Membership Hotels Etc. Review: Is It Worth It?

This post is sponsored by Hotels Etc. but as always the opinions are entirely my own. I have wanted to bring you guys this website I found, for a while now. Due to some health issues with my preemie daughter(she is doing much better now) I was unable to complete this post. Now, since things have calmed down and I’ve had the time to really review the site and learn about all the good it can offer, I am here to share it with my readers. Hotels Etc. This website is a discounted membership site. Meaning you pay a yearly […]

Visiting Honeyville In Durango Colorado

This post was not sponsored by Honeyville. As always all expressed opinions are my own. Our family loves to travel. All over the place and all the time if we could. We are out and about as often as we can be and we are on a mission to find the coolest places in our area “The Four Corners”. On a recent excursion, we stopped at Honeyville in Durango, and I’m so glad we did. The kids had a blast and let’s be honest, the honey was delicious.    About Honeyville:  My son picking a wedgie. Hey, car rides can be tough. […]

Men’s Soap Company Review. (From a man and a woman!)

This post is sponsored but as always the opinions are my own. My hubby has been on a mission to find a shaving soap that he LOVES. He is picky and when I say picky I mean it. So I recently asked my husband to try this new Lavander scented shaving soap. I wanted to know how it worked and see if it was gentle enough to use on my own body. (Who cares if it says for men? haha).    About Men’s Soap Company:  Their soaps are handmade in the USA, vegan, and toxin and paraben free. They use gentle […]

The Best Straightener for Curly Hair. (GIVEAWAY)

This post is sponsored by xtava, but as always the opinions in the post are my own. With thick curly hair like mine, it can be ridiculous to tame. I have used straighteners since I was in my teens. Check out the awesome xtava Infrared Straightener by clicking here. I stopped straightening my hair because I didn’t like the way other straighteners made my hair look. I decided to try xtava and I was impressed. It is the first infrared straightener I’ve ever used. Arrival: When it arrived it came with a thermal carrying case, instructions, and a card that gives all of their […]

ABC Mouse Review.

So my kids have been using ABC Mouse for several months now. I was pretty skeptical at first because all of the reviews I had read were good ones. To me that sounded fishy, but I proceeded with the thirty day free trial anyways. At this point all of the homeschooling and supplemental teaching I had been given my children was free. Free resources, free printables, and free lesson plans. Free resources are a moms best friend (well at least this mom). I decided to splurge and do a free trial for ABC Mouse. I had seen it all over […]

Denver Aquarium.

On an unexpected trip to Denver for a family funeral, we decided to take the kids to the Denver Aquarium. Little kids (and adults alike) can only handle so much pain when it comes to death. We all needed to do something to clear our minds and breathe. Even if it was only for a little while. The Denver Aquarium. Located in Downtown Denver and coming from a small town, it was a tad intense. There are so many things to do in Denver it can be overwhelming, especially on an unplanned trip. The Aquarium itself is 107,000 square feet. […]

Snuza Pico Review.

When my daughter was sent home from the hospital after 47 days in the NICU, still on oxygen and having just overcome apnea spells. I needed some reassurance at night that she would be okay (or I never would have slept).  I was so used to knowing exactly how she was doing because of her monitors. I heard about the Owlet Monitor and also the Snuza Pico. We have used the Snuza Pico Monitor since the day we brought her home. Here are our thoughts… The Snuza Pico is placed on the baby’s diaper and it monitors his/her breathing rate. […]

Albuquerque, New Mexico: The best milkshake.

Traveling to Albuquerque is something our family likes to do on occasion. You can find astounding restaurants, vibrant shops, and and a plethora of activities both family friendly and adult oriented. Although this specific trip revolved around doctor appointments to monitor Princess’s development, we found some time to try a new cafe. The Owl Cafe is an easy find, located off I-40 and Eubank. As we walked in you notice there are tiny owl figurines lining a ledge located at the top of the cafe. It was clean, comfortable, and cute. This cafe serves alcohol and there are mini jukeboxes […]
