My family and I have been on a mission to start eating better. Low-carb is the diet my fiance used several years ago to lose over one hundred pounds! So we are turning our eating habits around and in the process we have tried some delicious low-carb recipes. Here is one of our favorites.
I cut the hot dogs and cheese slices in half and placed two cut cheese slices inside of the hotdog.
I then wrapped the hotdogs in bacon and secured with a toothpick on each end.
I cooked mine a little less because I like my bacon chewy.
8 Cheese Slices
8 Slices of Bacon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut the hot dogs and the cheese slices in half.
Place two of the cut cheese slices on one half of the hot dog.
Put the hot dog back together with the cheese in the middle.
Wrap a slice of bacon around each hot dog.
Secure the bacon with toothpicks on each end.
Place hotdogs into preheated oven for 35-40 minutes.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 35-40 Minutes
Total Time: 45-50 Minutes
