FREE Meal Plan Printable

The only way my family can stay on track with our budget is to meal plan. Every Sunday I make a meal plan for the week and also do meal prep. It holds me accountable and leaves room for family input. I save time because I don’t have to wonder last minute what to make for dinner.
We are on a “modified low carb diet”. Basically just making better choices than the eating out and soda drinking habits that we are accustomed to. We let the boys have a few “specials” like applesauce, juice boxes, and cereal on occasion. We have recently gotten off of our low carb eating due to my surgery and my fiance’s new job. This week we are back doing low(ish) carb! Here is our meal plan:

Monday:

  • Breakfast burritos
  • Grilled Chicken Salad
  • Taco Bowls
Tuesday:
  • Breakfast burritos
  • Tuna cakes
  • Open face hamburgers with salad
Wednesday:
  • Eggs and bacon
  • Tortilla pizzas
  • Beef and Broccoli
Thursday:
  • Breakfast Burritos
  • Turkey bacon ranch pinwheels
  • Ranch cheddar chicken with fried pickles
Friday:
  • Cereal for kids/breakfast burritos for adults
  • Grilled chicken salad
  • Salmon with cauliflower rice

Saturday:

  • Bacon and eggs
  • Tortilla pizzas
  • Leftovers
Sunday:
  • Banana pancakes with bacon
  • Turkey cheese roll ups/ cheese roll ups low carb
  • Meatballs with cottage cheese

We buy low carb tortillas for the breakfast burritos. I meal prep the breakfast burritos on sunday nights and freeze them for the week. I also get low carb bread in case the boys want a sandwich instead of roll ups. We would like to attempt our own low carb bread, but that is for another time! Haha.
